Self love allows one to be his own g-d, judge, rule maker and rule breaker. Thus everyone must conform to a self centered narcissists view point. Imagine every one's a g-d, demanding respect and worse acknowledgement. No humility no self control. Twisted view of their community and involvement, and input and personal responsibility.
'Like yourself' be proud yet humble. Be of good will, honest in your dealings, don't manipulate others for gain, contribute, help others, sacrifice. It's OK to be second or third.
